The United States has a water crisis—and it’s not limited to Flint. Many more places do not have reliable access to clean water. The National Clean Water Collective is a nonprofit fighting to fix this. They have provided over $600,000 worth of short- and long-term, sustainable aid to Flint, Michigan, Newark, New Jersey and the Bahamas. They organization sought tee shirts to bring awareness to this issue.
The process
I started this project out with a pencil and paper, testing out arrangements and letter styles. I decided the key to this project would be legibility, because the design was intended to be read on a tee shirt at a distance. The layouts I tested out in Procreate placed legibility at the forefront.
