Mural and menu
Humpty’s Dumplings is a Philly-based business that sells innovative dumplings, with flavors ranging from cheesesteak to apple pie. When opening their Fishtown walk-up window location, the owner realized the small spot might be easy for passersby to miss.
He requested an eye-catching mural to cover the storefront, inspired by Humpty’s dumplings’ unique shape. Since the completion of the mural, sales reached unprecedented levels during peak season.
I also designed a menu sign, with a custom hand-lettered blackletter typeface painted in enamels. I worked on plastic so that the rotating items can be written with chalk marker and erased.
